I'm Nicole~
I'm so glad you're here! I'm a family photographer of 10+ years serving the Portland metro area focusing on the deeper, more sentimental side of motherhood.
I'm here for all the nostalgic mamas who want to hold onto the small everyday moments with their children a little longer. Their sweet smiles, their little hands reaching for yours, the butterfly kisses, all of it captured in a cinematic & emotive kind of way.
I worked many years as a preschool teacher and in elementary schools and have a toddler of my own, so let your children be themselves - I speak child! I’m comfortable stepping into the chaos, slowing things down, or simply taking a break during a session to regroup.
Having grown up in Oregon, I often spent my childhood camping in forests, hiking up mountains and building sand castles at the beach with my family. Or I would spend a quiet Sunday afternoon on my grandparents' farm planting flowers or feeding the horses, which is why nature & farms are most often the backdrop to my photography.

As your Portland family photographer, I want to capture images you didn't know you needed but will forever cherish as your child ages. And I want to capture images that your children will one day cherish as they age.
You won't be forced into stiff poses or fake smiles - I will gently guide you through easy, natural prompts and activities that you & your children will enjoy.
Choose from many of Oregon's incredible backdrops such as the Oregon Coast, the Columbia River Gorge, in & around Portland, & we'll determine a more exact location after booking, or if you'd like, we can even have the session in the comfort of your own home.
