Being the oldest of 5 I was always the babysitter which annoyed me as a teenager lol! but has given me the gift of being able to work with children with ease. I was a teacher for many years at a local outdoor school as well as a Montessori school and simply love love love photographing family moments.

I recently had my first child and while in the newborn trenches, I felt like time was at a stand still, that I could always take that photo tomorrow or the next day... but the truth is, as everyone says, it goes by in the blink of an eye, even if I didn't believe them at the time!

 

Luckily I was able to capture some moments but I always wish I did more. I cherish the photos of her little fingers wrapped around mine, breastfeeding, or her simply looking at me and smiling.
