My best childhood memories were on my grandparents' farm. My earliest memories included running through an apple orchard, digging in the dirt, and taking care of baby chicks while eating an egg sandwich. 

Living on a farm takes work that most people don't realize. I don't even know 1/2 of it

(ask me about "cutting down a tree" when you see me next...).
But there's something about living and working on a farm that immediately connects one to nature, whether challenging or peaceful, it is a way of  life worth preserving.
