Maternity Photography Session in Portland, OR

I can't tell you how much I love photographing an older sibling exitedly awaiting the arrival of their little brother or sister. It doesn't get much sweeter than that, does it?

And this family certainly delivered on that sweetness.

This mama brought several outfits for her maternity photography session in Portland, which by all means, is fine by me! Do an outfit change if you'd like to get even more variety in your final gallery! Some photographers charge extra but I do not as long as we have time and the privacy level you wish for. In this case, it was not very busy at this local park near Gresham so Mama just quickly changed while in the field!

If you want variety in clothing without the full outfit swap, I recommend dressing in layers and bringing just one extra cardigan/sweater to pull over your exisiting shirt or dress. Bring a scarf or hat to take on/off and call it good!

Maternity photo shoots always remind me just how powerful women are. Pregnancy is a delicate experience yet so amazingly powerful and life-changing. An exciting, emotional time that should absolutely be documented with beautiful images. If you don't feel beautiful (because I certainly did not when I was pregnant), it is my job to show you that yes, truly, you are.
