I've been getting raw goat milk from this farm for awhile and it is the best! This is Davinia Acres and I highly recommend them!

We started out with the children and the chickens and the ponies while mama finished getting ready in the house. Then we headed over to the baby goats! Some were just a day old - did you know they come out knowing how to walk almost immediately? I learned a lot about goats while visiting their farm!

We then went through the barn and over to their creek. This farm is a dream with a view of Mt. Hood to boot! The sun was going down as the family kissed the stream with their toes and I was so glad I wore my tall rain boots because that creek is easily knee-deep. And yes, as your farm photographer - I will go into the creek if it gets you good photos - I will go in the barn stalls, I will get messy - I have no fear =) Except of snakes and spiders - that's where I draw the line.

Once we jumped the creek a couple times, we headed back through the barn and they asked if I wanted to see the chaos of putting all the mama & baby goats in their respective stalls and I said, "YEAH! Of course!" And it was definitely chaos lol! We got some good photos out of it.

If you are a local family farm close to Sandy, Estacada, Clackamas or even Hillsobor - I would LOVE to come photograph your life on the farm! I semi-grew up on acreage with horses and it brings back fond memories of being on my grandparents' property as well.

"You have a magical gift at romanticizing the dirt!" ~ Davinia Acres.
