When I first drove onto this property my jaw literally dropped. A wrought iron gate covered with ivy, opening up to a gravel driveway leading past the most beautiful blooming Locust tree...the most classic farm house with a big front porch, a tire swing hanging from the backyard's tree, baby chicks & goats, a field with tall grass to frolic in, a red brick stable... I could go on and on how bucolic this Brush Prairie farm was. A literal dream.
AND this family!! The parents were high school sweethearts and both grew up in this small countryside town in Washington state. Now they have two sweet and loving children and I just wanted to capture this family as they truly are: Amazing!
So if you have a family farm and would like a family photography session done on your proptery - just know that I am ALL FOR IT! And if you ever wonder if Brush Prairie, Hillsboro, Ridgefield, or Wilsonville. is too far for this Sandy, Oregon photographer to travel to, NO, NO IT IS NOT, especially for a farm shoot. And even if your property isn't the most bucolic or magazine-worthy- I PROMISE YOU I still want to photograph it & we will still capture the heart of your story, because that is what it's all about anyway - your family as you are.
