Sunset Shoot in the Columbia River Gorge

This family is very special to me. These two amazing children were in my classroom from preschool all the way up to third grade. They flew in from Tennessee, never having seen Oregon before and wondering where their old teacher's home is! So I had the honor of showing them the places I made memories growing up when I was their age. They got to experience a day at Haystack Rock and eat ice cream at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. They smelled the roses at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland and ate yummy Indian food in NW Portland. I wanted them to have a very special location for their photoshoot so after a beautiful day of sightseeing on Mt. Hood, they drove to the Columbia River Gorge and viewed the most amazing sunset over the wide river and tall mountains.
