Smith Rock State Park: Rain & Shine | Portland Family Photographer

I don't normally photograph couples but when I do, it is SO MUCH FUN. I am usually chasing toddlers or making fart jokes, and honestly, photographing couples isn't THAT much different....I'm chasing the couple's playful kisses and yes, I will sometimes even make jokes but they honestly don't land AS WELL as for a 4 year old! And since I am a photographer based near Portland, I don't normally shoot at Smith Rock State Park! But I really would love to do more here because the dramatic rock cliffs, color tones, and lighting cannot be beat. Plus, my dad lives nearby, so it would make another great excuse to go see him.

Delaney and Evan were the epitome of awesomeness: easy going, romantic & playful. Instead of seeking shelter or feeling disheartened when the rain came 10 minutes into our session, they laughed and danced in the droplets, their spirits undampened. The rain turned out to be good luck because it brought us the most beautiful skies and even sunshine rays, it really was unbelievable!
